At around six weeks post-delivery, you’ll see your healthcare provider for a postpartum evaluation. During this time you’ll talk about how you’re feeling and how it’s all going. You’ll also discuss contraception options (or when to get pregnant next) and any issues relating to your emotional and physical well-being. They’ll also do a proper exam of your vagina, cervix, abdomen and uterus to make sure all is healing well. Use this visit to chat about your recovery and caring for babe.
